Scalable online fashion store with user accounts and ERP integration
FashionHub is a mid-market fashion retailer that outgrew its off-the-shelf platform and needed a custom storefront capable of handling seasonal traffic spikes and a catalog of 3,000+ SKUs. We built a headless commerce architecture with a Next.js frontend and a custom backend API that syncs inventory in real time with their ERP. The checkout flow was redesigned to minimize steps, with guest checkout, saved addresses, and Stripe integration for card and Apple Pay. A personalised recommendations engine surfaces related products based on browsing history. The result: 2,000+ orders per month and a 28% improvement in cart-to-purchase conversion compared to the legacy platform.
